Darrell and Sherri have been married for 40 years and have two married children and six grandchildren.
Darrell grew up in Forks, Washington and felt a call to ministry and missions in his early teens. He graduated from Northwest University in 1975. Darrell holds credentials with the Assemblies of God and has been ordained since 1978.
Sherri grew up in Vancouver, Washington and sensed God’s call to mission’s service. She also holds credentials with the Assemblies of God and was ordained in 2012.
Darrell and Sherri met at Northwest University in 1971, and married in 1972. They began youth ministry in 1973 serving in Lake Stevens, Issaquah and Port Orchard. They took their first pastorate in 1978 in Vader, Washington. In 1984 they left for the Solomon Islands as foreign missionaries. They have served in the Solomon Islands, Palau and Japan. Since returning to the states they have pastored in Port Angeles and Mossyrock, Washington.
Darrell and Sherri have continued to reach out to people around the world and have preached and taught in 16 countries.
